Database Management Technology

DBAnalyzer is a comprehensive Ingres performance management system consisting of:

Monitor - analyze and diagnose problems in running installations
Sentinel - detect abnormal conditions, raise alarms, and take corrective action
Query - interrogate running systems using SQL

All subsystems make use of the DBAnalyzer Performance Database (PDB). The PDB exposes Ingres and operating system performance statistics as a set of relational database tables which are queried by DBAnalyzer subsystems.
